Curley’s Trout Fishery, Bolton
Curley’s Trout Fishery is one of the North’s premier fly waters, Nestled amongst the hills of the Wet Pennine Moors, on the edge of the beautiful Rivington Country Park. This 200 year old reservoir is a 6 acre fly only water and is stocked with hard fighting trout, fully finned, triploid Rainbows, Blues and Goldies up to double figures. A smaller 1 acre coarse lake stocked with lots of Sliver fish and perch.
Curley’s Trout Fishery has become an important fly fishing venue for the North West – The waters offer excellent fly fishing in beautiful surroundings and after a good days fishing where else to finish the day off but with a drink? or, a Delicious mouth watering dish of food in the Curley’s Dining Rooms prepared by the Chefs using finest fresh produce – eat in the beautiful main dining room or outside on the large court yard over looking the fly fishing lake.
